Lupe Fiasco ft. MDMA "I Don’t Wanna Care Right Now"

発売が危ぶまれレーベルとの些かいもあったが、ファンの加勢が味方し、Lupe Fiascoの新譜”Laser”が無事届けられました。個人的な2010年シングルランキング8位であるJohn Legendを客演に迎えたノスタリジックな楽曲"Never Forget You"が、正式な収録曲としてトラックリスト最後尾に掲載されているのを確認できた段階で、それなりの充足感に包まれて、聞き耳を立てる。

聞き終えた後、年間8位がスライドする形で"Laser"の１番のお気に入りとならずに、上記の楽曲をエンドレスリピートで聞いていました。各Verse共にLupeの繋ぎ目無く流れるラップの凄みは、到底日本語ラップでは味わえない、次元の違う仕上がりを魅せている。派手さの少ない楽曲、故に余計際立ちます。
